Erin reviewed the markets and explained the use of the DecisionPoint Scoreboards, found in the DP Chart Galleries. Short-term signals are clearly mixed but the intermediate and long terms are still reading bullish:
Big SCTR Movers and Stocks on the Run
Tom reviewed various symbols and charts using the StockCharts homepage tables and tabs for the "Most Active" and "Large-Cap SCTR" Top Ten tab including Tesla (TSLA) and Delta Airlines (DAL):
DP Trend Models: In this segment Erin covered the Short-Term Trend Model, Intermediate-Term Trend Model and Long-Term Trend Model BUY, SELL and Neutral signals. For more information you can read the ChartSchool article here.
Earnings Preview and Review: Tom went over the latest earnings reports and those getting ready to report. Symbols included: OZRK, FAST, INFY, JPM, C, WFC, PNC among others.
Ten in Ten Minutes to One: In this segment, Tom reviews and annotates ten charts in ten minutes at ten minutes to 1p! Erin adds her perspective occasionally with the PMO and Trend Models. Today Tom reviewed: XOM, NFLX, JPM, WFM, XLK, XLF, IWM as well as a few viewer requests, CCL, CF among others. Below is Tom's XLF chart and Erin's XLK chart.
Mailbag Segment: In this regular segment, Erin and Tom answer questions received via Twitter, Facebook and Email. Tom discussed his trading strategies on moving to profits, using shorts in a bear market, and hedging in a bull market. Erin discussed what a negative divergence and bullish/bearish confirmations are. Below is chart she annotated on the fly annotating various divergences and confirmations.
