Will I also have to pay exchange fees?

No. The prices you see above include all exchange fees, index fees, data transmission fees, etc.

What types of payment do you accept?

How does the 10-additional free days offer work?

If your account expired more than 30 days ago and you resubscribe to StockCharts using one of the buttons above, we will add 10 additional days to your expiration date for free.

My old account expired more than 30 days ago. Are my old charts and settings still available?

Unfortunately no. We are not able to store charts and settings for more than 30 days after an account expires. This is one reason why we offer 10 additional free days to members like you.

My account expired less than 30 days ago. Do I qualify for the 10 free days offer?

No. That offer is not available to recently expired members. The good news is that if you renew now, your old charts and settings will still be there when you log back in.

 

What kind of charts can I create? Which stock exchanges do you cover?

We provide high-quality financial charts for US stocks (NYSE, Amex, Nasdaq), US Mutual funds, and Canadian stocks (TSX, Venture). We also provide over 1000 technical market indexes as well as end-of-day charts for most US commodity contracts.

* - What's the difference between "US real-time data" and "Official real-time data"?

The "US real-time data" is provided for free by the BATS exchange and is available for most US stocks. It does not include real-time volume data. "Official real-time data" is provided by the NYSE, Nasdaq and TSX exchanges for an additional fee of $9.95/month (which is included in the price of ExtraRT). Click here for more details

What are the key differences between "Basic" and "Extra"?

An Extra account lets you group your charts into different ChartLists which is great for tracking watch lists, portfolio holdings, sectors, scan results, etc. A Basic account only has all of your saved charts in just one list. Also, an Extra account allows you to create your own custom technical scans.

Which technical indicators does StockCharts have?

You can add any of over 40 different technical indicators to your charts. A complete list of what we provide can be found here.

What are the "Predefined Scans" that Basic and Free users have access to?

We publish the results of about 50 popular, pre-created scans on our website everyday. You can see them by clicking on this link.

Do I have to subscribe in order to use StockCharts.com?

The Market Message is a members-only area of our site where our resident Technical experts - John Murphy and Arthur Hill - post their current thoughts on what the market is doing and why. How do I subscribe to just the StockCharts Market Message service by itself?

The Market Message is no longer available as a separate service. We recommend you subscribe to our inexpensive Basic service and enjoy both the Market Message and our charting tools.

Does StockCharts work on an iPhone or iPad?

Our standard website works well on iOS devices however Flash/Java-based features such as PerfCharts and ChartNotes are not available.
