ChartLists are “online folders” that allow members to store up to 1000 charts in a single group. Basic members only get one ChartList, Extra members can have up to 250 different ChartLists, and Pro members can have up to 500 different lists.
ChartLists allow you to group/organize/categorize collections of charts. You can run scans on your ChartLists, install expert-curated ChartPacks, view reports of your ChartLists, view them in a variety of time-saving ways, and make them public to share with other StockCharts members.
MarketCarpets make it easy to visually scan and rank large collections of stocks simultaneously. Quickly and efficiently find the best and worst performers for a given period. MarketCarpets are especially useful for sector analysis. MarketCarpets is a fantastic tool for identifying the strength of a sector, as well as, determing the strongest securities within the sector.
Dynamically compare the performance of up to 12 different ticker symbols on the same chart over differing periods of time where “performance” is defined as “percent change of the closing price over time.”
Each line on a PerfChart shows the percent change for one stock from the starting point (i.e. left edge) of the chart. By plotting several performance lines on top of each other, a PerfChart allows you to make relative comparisons for two or more ticker symbols.
Relative Rotation Graphs (“RRG charts”) show you a security's relative strength and momentum relative to a collection of other securities. RRG charts were developed by StockCharts' own Julius de Kempenaer, and have been available on Bloomberg terminals since 2011.
They differ from most other financial charts in that the horizontal axis does not represent time. An RRG chart is a scatter plot, with de Kempenaer's Relative Strength Ratio indicator as the horizontal axis and his Relative Strength Momentum indicator as the vertical axis.
Theshows the relationship between multiple interest rates and stocks over time.
Under certain economic conditions, the yield curve can become flat or even inverted, warning investors to be cautious. Our Dynamic Yield Curve tool allows you to observe the current curve at a glance, explore historical curves, and analyze how yield curves behave under differing market conditions.
A basic idea of technical analysis is that certain stocks will perform better during particular months of the year. Our Interactive Seasonality Chart tool allows you to confirm whether or not these kinds of “seasonal” effects happen by letting you interactively determine how frequently any given security in our database rises during each month of the year.
