The sector PerfChart shows the relative performance of the nine sectors. Relative performance equals the sector gain less the gain in the S&P 500. Year-to-date, the energy sector is the only standout performer. Of the other eight, seven are relatively weak and only the industrials sector is outperforming the S&P 500.
