In this edition of StockCharts TV's Sector Spotlight, I work my way down the investment pyramid and show how I use RRG as a tool to get from Asset Allocation all the way down to individual stocks to build a portfolio. You should be able to pick and choose the parts that you need for your own portfolio depending on how broad you would like to be diversified and/or how granular you want your investments to be.
This video was originally broadcast on December 29th, 2020. Click anywhere on the Sector Spotlight logo above to view on our dedicated Sector Spotlight page, or click this link to watch on YouTube.
Sector Spotlight airs weekly on Tuesdays at 10:30-11:00am ET. Past episodes can be found here.
In addition, as part of StockCharts TV's ongoing "Reflections 2020" event, I contributed the first episode of the 5-part "Sector Rotation" presentation, which you can watch below. I looked back at the major rotations among asset classes and sectors that took place in 2020 using Relative Rotation Graphs as the starting point and then, in combination with the RRG, "re-played" the bar-charts of the major moves in Stocks and Bonds and the sectors that showed the most important rotations.
You can watch the full Reflections 2020 playlist here. New episodes of "Sector Rotation" air every day through Friday, January 1st at 11:00am ET.
