Brian Livingston

October 29, 2018 (REDMOND, WA) - StockCharts.com has announced a new partnership with Brian Livingston, CEO of MuscularPortfolios.com. The company has named Mr. Livingston as a contributing author for the website and will publish his commentary in an exclusive new blog, "Muscular Investing." The newfound relationship follows Mr. Livingston's positively-received appearance on the StockCharts TV program MarketWatchers LIVE, where he presented the segment "Saving with Fintech."

Mr. Livingston is a successful dot-com entrepreneur and an award-winning business and financial journalist. With more than two decades of experience in these areas, he has now turned his attention directly on the investment industry. Based in Seattle, Mr. Livingston is now the CEO of MuscularPortfolios.com, a website dedicated to revealing Wall Street’s secret buy-and-sell signals, absolutely free. He also authored the book Muscular Portfolios: The Investing Revolution for Superior Returns with Lower Risk.

From 1984 through 1991, Mr. Livingston was the assistant information technology manager of UBS Securities in New York City, a computer consultant for Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. (now JPMorgan Chase) and technology adviser to Lazard Freres. As a consumer advocate exposing the dark side of high tech, he wrote more than 1,000 articles from 1991 through 2010 for such publications as PC World, CNET, InfoWorld, PC Mag and eWeek.

"StockCharts.com gives me a great opportunity to reach out to the 100 million households in English-speaking countries around the world who are either expert traders or simply have a 401(k) or IRA-type tax-deferred account," Mr. Livingston said in a statement to the company. "The average 401(k) account-holder in the US has a balance of $229,000. People with savings need to know what to do before the next bear market."

"Brian brings a data-driven, yet also very approachable perspective to investing and personal finance," StockCharts Business Manager Grayson Roze said. "Building on the great work and substantial research he's put into his new book, Brian's new blog is going to add a lot to our commentary offerings on StockCharts."

The first issue of "Muscular Investing" will debut on Friday, November 2nd, 2018. To read Brian Livingston's work on StockCharts.com, visit StockCharts.com/muscular-investing.
