We've all been there. You find a great chart setup and you're excited about the trade but at the last minute you ask yourself, "wait, but how does it look on the weekly?"
Now maybe in your version it's "how does it look on the daily" or "how does it look on the monthly", but no matter what type of trader or investor you are, the point still stands - multi-timeframe analysis matters!
Thankfully, we've streamlined the multi-timeframe analysis process on StockCharts with our "GalleryView" tools. By putting intraday, daily, weekly, and monthly charts for the same symbol all together on one screen, you can easily study and compare different timeframes without having to click back and forth from chart to chart. You can even customize the indicators, overlays and other settings for each timeframe to perfectly match your trading or investing style.

| You can easily create a ChartList with all of the individual stocks that make up a major index, like the S&P 500, NASDAQ 100 or Dow Industrials. Create a new ChartList in your account and pull up the the "Edit" view. At the bottom of the page, look for the "From Group" tab within the "Add Charts To List" panel, and then use the Predefined Groups menu to select an index. |
