Hello Fellow ChartWatchers!
Wow. I've finally got a place where I can blog about StockCharts! An easy-to-update area where I can let everyone know what's new without having to wait for the next newsletter to come out. This is wonderful!
In the coming weeks and months, look for me to post articles here about our goals, our milestones, our achievements and our setbacks. This blog is going to be mostly about the challenges we face running and maintaining StockCharts.com itself including frank discussions about our limitations and why they exist. It is part of our new commitment to try and keep our loyal users up-to-date and informed about the website.
"But I want to learn more about using the website to make money!" Don't worry - we are rolling out several other blogs to help people do just that:
A new feature from us. A daily look at charts with interesting technical developments.
The new home for our free newsletter. Look for articles to appear here first before they are sent out as complete emails.
StockCharts.com - Mailbag
Our "Letters to the Editor" blog. Real questions from real users with real answers from the people that better darn well know... us!
Tips, tricks and example stock scans that can help you get the most out of the StockCharts.com Scan Engine.
Reports about server availability. Every day we'll post a summary of our service performance including how much downtime we had (if any).
StockCharts.com - Step by Step
Our tutorial blog with lots of easy to follow instructions for doing common tasks. Charting, scanning, changing settings - even fixing common browser problems; all will be explained with lots of pictures to guide you through.
StockCharts.com - What's New
Latest announcements about new content and features on StockCharts.com.
Each of these blogs is being rolled out this week. Initially things may look a little sparse, but give it a little time. Soon we hope all of these blogs will be valuable additions that help people get the most out of StockCharts.
Keeping all of these blogs up-to-date is going to be a big challenge for us but it is part of a new commitment we are making to our users. We want to be as honest and open about our website as we can be. In many ways that has always been true but now, with these new blogging tools, we can prove it.
