The redesign process we started rolling out last year is now almost complete. With the update of the "Basic" and "Extra" pages we now have updated most of our site. Most pages should have a consistent set of tabs at the top. Most pages should have the auto-filling "Create a Chart" dropdown just below the tabs. Most pages should have their Search box and navigation links on the right side where they take up less valuable screen real-estate.
Here are some of the great comments we've received since yesterday's update:
"I do like the look and functionality of your new page design (esp fast chart name edits, etc.)" - Ben
"Absolutely love being able to set my chartlists to sort by %change and it stays that way as I roll through my chartlists. I was thinking about it yesterday! Thanks for making that change." - Greg
"I like very much the new presentation of the lists." - Dominique
"Just want to let you know I really like the new favorites format." - James
"I like the new design for the Members page, especially the design in having two colours for alternate lines in listing "Your Favorite Charts" and Chartlist Edit pages." - John
"Just taking a moment to say great job on the new layout. I really like it. Keep up the excellent work." - Dave
And then there is George who went above and beyond with this kind note:
As you can see, I so rarely (like never) give feedback that I couldn't even find the proper page to do so. But I just wanted to thank you for this improvement:
"Extra subscribers can now change chart titles, chart info, and list info by just clicking on the old version in '10-per-page view.' "
That's immensely useful, and a real time saver. I review a number of lists each day, and make heavy use of both the title line and the comments field. Your improvement has shaved about half an hour off my morning maintenance routine. I've just extended my subscription for another year."
Thanks to everyone that wrote in both pro and con. I'm confident that as everyone grows used to this new look, you'll appreciate the consistent, clean approach and will get even more use out of our site.
