How can I Save a Static Chart?

Have you ever created a chart (SharpChart or P&F) that you don't want to have update with the most current day's data? By creating and saving a static chart you can preserve how the chart looked on a specific day. Here are instructions on how you can save a static P&F or SharpChart.


Static SharpChart

First you want to create your SharpChart. Once you have created the SharpChart go to the "chart attributes" section, click the "range" drop-down, and select the option "select start/end". Enter in the date range you want to use for the chart. Make sure the end date is the last day you want to show data for on the chart.

Once the chart is created you can save it to your ChartList by clicking the "add new" link.

Static P&F Chart

To save a static P&F chart first you want to create your P&F chart. In the "Duration" box set the "duration" to the last day you want the chart to stop updating on. Once you select the "duration" date the chart won't update past the date you have selected.

To save the static P&F chart go to the "Managing your Favorites" box and click "Add/Modify the Current Chart". A pop-up will appear and you can select the ChartList you want to save your static P&F chart to.
