NEW "INTRO" VIDEO ALMOST COMPLETE - NEED FEEDBACK

 |

We're putting the finishing touches on the first in a series of videos that we plan on releasing soon that will help people use StockCharts.com effectively.  The first video is called "Getting Started with StockCharts.com" and is intended for new subscribers.  It covers things like logging in, setting up your account, and learning all the features of the SharpCharts workbench.  While old-time pros might not get much out of it, I think it is still something that everyone should review just in case.

Here's the (incomplete) video.  Please watch and let me know what you think in the comments section below.

I strongly recommend viewing this in "Full Screen" mode and in 720p HD resolution.

We hope to have the completed video available in the next day or two and we hope to do more of these videos on other topics very soon.

Chip: Great job, this resource just gets better every day. I use the same indicator settings (Bollinger Bands, Full STO, MACD, CCI and ADX) for all my time periods (weekly, daily, 60 minute, 30 minute, 15 minute, 10 minute and 5 minute but will now experiment with the settings to see if I get a better picture. A future BLOG on how to adjust settings between time periods would be great. Keep up the good work, I've been a subscriber for over three years.
Very good video, I'm a daily user of stockcharts.com and didnt know how to create different charts styles. I'm glad I didn't dismiss this video as too basic. I didn't like the silence in the video, when you were creating a chart you should mention the item that you are clicking on. Also, the small black screen that shows what you are covering should be removed. It's too small to read and serves no purpose. Overall, I would rate this video a 7 (10 being the best), Keep up the good work!
very professional; will no doubt be helpful. may i ask what program you used to make the video?
Hello Chip: Great video very easy to understand. Videos are great for complex instructions. I do wish we could minimize the chart attributes, overlays, and indicator sections to minimize RAM usage. Maybe something for the future. Phil Cataldo
